The only person from football passed away today. Sir Bobby Robson. He was fighting cancer for the fifth time in his life. He went to my primary school and was very much a proud Durham lad. He will be sorely missed in Newcastle and the North East. My thoughts are with his family and friends.
I'll echo those sentiments. Even though I've been a lifelong supporter of the other northeast club and have seen the man several times over the years. He put more effort than anyone into the sport. A great loss and a great ambassador.
