What is it about Florida...

    I thought geographical reasons played a role? After all, Florida is reaching far into the Gulf of Mexico if in the times of airplanes, geographical distance still plays a role.
    You are referring to people from South American countries, are you?

    People in history have laways, when migrating, followed people they knew. It is a kind of chain reaction.

    Also: Would they find more people speaking in their native language and living their way of life in Florida than in other states? I don't know Florida and can't answer this, but after a certain number of people migrated there, they themselves provide exactly that setting.
