This member committed identity fraud, knowingly went against the express will of the community while doing so, ignored the requests of several members to change his actions (things such as typing in all caps, which is frowned on all over the net, as an experienced user like him must know), deliberately wound us up, fraternised with known, self-identified trolls, continues to do so, and has generally acted in a most untrustworthy fashion, contrary to many aspects of our community's protocol. This was not down to ignorance; he read the FAQ, and understands netiquette anyway. This member will not be welcome here in the future, and has already demonstrated his ill will towards our community and its desires.

I don't think it matter now, he's said he's not coming back and we can remove him. Also, I don't think you can copyright a tick; you could easily draw one that's accidentaly identical, it's just not complex enough to claim as your own.
