[size tags removed; hsing]Big enough now? =D[size tags removed; hsing] Hurrah, I finally got around to finding a Discworld forum. About time, really. Anyway. Introductions. 1) what formed the motivational impetus for your chosen screenname? It's a song by the Dresden Dolls. I use it for most things. Originally chosen because it was masculine, and just because it sounded kind of neat. 2) Are you male or female? (Asking because there has been quite of lot of confusion over this, on and off.) Female, last time I checked. 3) what age catagory and geographic location do you fall into? Just seventeen, from Western Australia. (XXXX, even. =D) 4) do you have good faith that a discworld movie COULD be done well enough not to suck? (note, this in no way shape or form asks about casting choices you'd like to see. i have a loaded rifle and i'm not afraid to use it.) You're lucky you put in that casting comment. It's a sport for us. I think it could be done, but it would have to be done carefully. 5) who or how were you turned on to discworld/pratchett? My Grade 9 English teacher got us all to read Equal Rites, and I've been addicted ever since. 2004. However, I remember watching the animated series of Wyrd Sisters and Soul Music way back in '98, or around then. 6) what's your personal quote of the day? I'm bad at quotes. But I still like, "Things that try to look like things often look more like things than things."
Thanks for the welcome. =) I feel all warm and fuzzy. I can change the writing if it's an issue? It's just small out of habit.
I personally would appreciate bigger writing, but I'm short-sighted and need new glasses, so it could just be me! Anyway, hope you enjoy looking round the site.
All good then. I'll leave it normal sized for the benifit of short sighted folk everywhere. Probably less effort, really. Thanks again for the welcome. It's nice to find forums where you get acknowledged.
He was pretty damn cool. He had this strong English accent, and it amused us all no end that our English teacher actually was English.
Welcome :!: I'm probabley transgressing an unwritten code by welcoming without being a Boardanian or higher but what the hell.
