  1. Rincewind Number One Doorman

my avatar was turned into a little red cross.

    :(

(awww I love that little simile! it's ok little guy! things will get better!)
  2. Electric_Man Templar

It's probably because you smell... that's the reason for the cross and the unhappy smiley.
  3. Rincewind Number One Doorman

I love that little unhappy smilie. It's like he's about to cry but trying to hold the tears back...

    :(

Awww. Bless 'im. I shall call him Bob. Unhappy Bob.
  4. Ivan_the_terrible New Member

Are you sure that Bob is actually male? :)
  5. Rincewind Number One Doorman

Well, why would he me called 'Bob' if he's not male?
  6. Ivan_the_terrible New Member

He called you Bob and is male. Hm...

    "Bob!"=male

Is this some kind of a gay code?
    :goodman:

  7. Rincewind Number One Doorman

You'd have to ask Dale about that. He's got the GayCode Book.
  8. sleepy_sarge New Member

Ahh you owe it to the world to write the saga of Unhappy Bob - or at least give him his own thread!
  9. colonesque10 New Member

Thats probably the best avatar you've ever had anyway Rinso and as for Bob, things won't get better, only worse. He'll end up alone in a room with no-one to keep him company except his dead grandma and her tapeworm.
  10. Rincewind Number One Doorman

    Poor, Poor Bob.

That Tape worm is a french communist, who has nothing but contempt for Bob's capitalist dreams of owning a bright red bike.
  11. Electric_Man Templar

This is a sig html/UBB test
  12. sampanna New Member

    Signature test.
  13. sampanna New Member

    Another test.
  14. Maljonic Administrator

    and another...
  15. Maljonic Administrator

    Hmm, that's very strange. :)
  16. Roman_K New Member

Interesting. Your signature now has something's ASCII code in the end. Looks like the one for the ']' sign, but I don't have the time to check.

Seems the sigs are a bit on the broken side. ;)
  17. Maljonic Administrator

    More testing.
  18. colonesque10 New Member

I heard Bob no longer dreams of that bright red bike, because of the damn Grandma, but instead of a future that doesn't hold so much pain and suffering. One day the bright red bike dream will return and not even evil Grandma and her tape worm of doom will stop unhappy Bob's rise to the top.

NB: The spoken of 'rise to the top' may only turn out to be a cycle ride to a nearby hill on his cycle but it's a step forward for unhappy Bob.
  19. OmKranti Yogi Wench

Tape worm of doom? Is he related to the Carrott perhaps?

    Rinso, I can't see your avatar either, it's just a red x. :(
  20. sleepy_sarge New Member

    pictures?
    heheh

  22. Buzzfloyd Spelling Bee

My sig works. In your face, Roman and Mal!
  23. TheJackal Member

Just set up my first, ever Avatar (*pats himself on the back for getting it to work*)
  24. Buzzfloyd Spelling Bee

I think I recognise it, Jackal, but I'm not sure where from. I like it anyway.
  25. Toaf New Member

I, too, am testing my avatar! Yay!
  26. Rincewind Number One Doorman

  27. OmKranti Yogi Wench

    just checking
  28. timmmmm New Member

    this is just a test,
If I were really saying something,
    it wouldn"t be here...
  29. Delphine New Member

  32. colonesque10 New Member

Great idea snails, FATHER TED ROCKS! 8)

And for the celebration of father ted i'm going to have, for one week only, my favourite father ted charcater as my avatar. I also like to think i'm a little like him, except maybe not so clued up. :)
  33. Buzzfloyd Spelling Bee

    He's my favourite too! :D
  34. Delphine New Member

Ha ha haaa! Dougal is also my favourite. I actually wanted Jack at first, but I forsaw gender mistakes if I used him as an avatar ;)

Great avatar Kenny! It makes me laugh whenever I see it.

    As did that.

(Ted holds up a toy cow to Dougal)
    This is a SMALL COW.
    (Ted points out the window)
    Those cows are FAR AWAY.

    Classic.
  35. colonesque10 New Member

    Cheers Snails.

That quote is an absolute classic, as are many. One of my favourites is:

Ted: You're supposed to be taking Jack for his walk
Dougal: Well erm, the cliffs were closed for the day
Ted: How can the cliffs be closed Dougal?
Dougal: OK no, it wasn't that. They were gone
Ted: Gone? The cliffs were gone. How could they just disappear?
    Dougal: Erosion

    LOL :D :D

I've watched all three series on DVD over the last couple of weeks, it was a cool time. I'm gutted now because I know there will never be anymore, and it is sooooooo good. :(

Still listening to the horse song numerous times on the DVD made me laugh so much. I was humming it to myself in work all week. COOL! 8)
  36. sleepy_sarge New Member

Mrs Doyle: Now come on Father, what would you say to a nice cup of tea?
    Jack: FECK OFF CUP!!!!!!
  37. colonesque10 New Member

Thats also one of my favourites. As is:

    I LOVE MY BRICK!!! :D
  38. chrisjordan New Member

  39. Buzzfloyd Spelling Bee

My favourite Dougal moment is when he strides out the door... and comes back round and walks out the correct side of the door.
  40. Naiad New Member

  41. fairyliquid New Member

  44. Maljonic Administrator

Lol yes, that's too big; if you can't make it smaller I can do it for you? :)
  45. mazekin Member

    Testing, testing 1,2,3...I like pie...1,2,3...
  46. Buzzfloyd Spelling Bee

Mazekin! Love the Hobbes avatar. :) Did you see that Pterry is coming to Ireland?
  47. mazekin Member

    Hi Buzzfloyd,

Thanks! Love Hobbes, and his conniving look reminds me of me right now

Yup, the Master is appearing in Easons in Dublin on the 18th of October, and I have the day booked off, the train tickets bought and a friend's arm twisted to come with me. My knees are trembling at the thought of walking up to the table, handing him my book and hopefully not having an inane grin plastered across my face asking him to sign my book. I don't think my friend knows what she's getting herself in for.
  48. Toaf New Member

I am testing my new avatar.
  49. queenynci New Member

I hope this avatar works. It's the first time I have put my own in.

edited to say yay! it worked!
  50. colonesque10 New Member

    TESTING!

I had to change my Dougal for some reason, gah! :(

Edit: YAY, and it's probably even cooler..... :cooler:
  51. Ozzer New Member

This is a test of the emergency avatar system. This is only a test.

Betting myself five dollars that I see the "fortunecity.com" logo...

    edit: ha! Now pay up!

Drat! That's the problem with betting against myself. I always seem to lose.

(Oddly enough, I also seem to win a lot, too...)

2nd edit: well, this'll have to do for now. :( RIP, Polly!
  52. goldGOLDgold New Member

This may just be the best avatar i've ever made... or a kind of blueish rectangle.

    EDIT: NOOOOOOO!!! It's broken
  53. goldGOLDgold New Member

    It works again!!!
  54. OmKranti Yogi Wench

Testing my new signature in which I make fun of Kenny.
  55. colonesque10 New Member

    Nice sig Om.

I love being drunk on MSN, its way more fun! :D
  56. chesterguy New Member

Testing... Testing... Testing... Yes all seems to be in order... no need to panic... ;)

    Edit:

    Agreed. :p
  57. colonesque10 New Member

    Welcome Chesterguy

Drunk MSN is the best way to waste hours, then finding out the next day what you said is fun if not a little embarrasing.

PS: I see Chester very nearly did Wycombe at the weekend, just don't tell Ben I said so. It sounded like a great match actually. :cooler:
  58. chesterguy New Member

Aye twas a good match, plus we did hit the post twice so Wycombe were lucky ;)

Wish we could have done as well tonight, rather than getting beat 3-2 by Rochdale infront of a larger than normal home crowd(plus it was my birthday so would have been nice to win), but having our main striker knocked unconcious after a minute and a half (and their keeper was allowed to stay on the pitch! ) showed the luck we were in for tonight...

    Ozzer:

Just copy the Polly picture to your PC and then upload your avatar.

("Your profile", click on "Your Info", Scroll all the way down and click on "Upload Through Forum Profile". Scroll all the way down again and click "Browse" where it says "Upload Avatar from your machine". Look for the file on your PC, Doubleclick and then click "Submit". That's all there's too it)
  60. colonesque10 New Member

I still fancy Chester to have a pretty good season although I was wondering how the financial problems were now?
