There may be a few jealous folks who didn't get to see Terry later in the week (though hopefully not too much, seeing as he was ill), but I'm sure that most fans will be pleased that some people got to see him on the Monday, especially those in Eastbourne who actually did see him on the Monday...
THUD! TERRY PRATCHETT COMES TO TOWN
HUNDREDS of fans turned up to meet leading British author Terry Pratchett at an exclusive book signing at Bookstack.
Terry spent time chatting with avid readers of his work who were delighted to have the chance to meet him.
Terry Pratchett's latest novels, Thud! and its companion volume, Where's my Cow? a whimsical and fully illustrated picture book for adults, were signed.
Derrick Trubshaw, owner of Bookstack, said, 'We are very privileged to have Terry Pratchett join us and honoured that this is his second visit to Bookstack.
'I understand we are the only book shop in the south east that he has agreed to visit, which makes us feel incredibly special and has thrilled our customers.'
Terry Pratchett's highly praised novels have sold 40 million copies worldwide and have been translated into 33 languages.
