I just read this little article and thought it was a little amusing. I think the reaction to the trolley price is very Discworld-esque, I can definitely imagine some of the characters dredging the Ankh in a similar manner…

THE Fragile Theatre Company, appearing at the Edinburgh Fringe with the Terry Pratchett-inspired Johnny and the Bomb, approached Tesco to borrow a supermarket trolley for the production – they travel through time in it. Tesco told them they could borrow a trolley – but it would cost £300.


So the stunned theatre group were last seen dredging ditches –as they reckon that at £300 a trolley they should be able to recover enough of them to fund their entire production.
