AM I the only one sick of the Harry Potter hype?
Oscar Wilde said: "A book is well written, or badly written."
Harry Potter stories are badly written, have poor grammar, a thin storyline and are rather silly, and that is a quote from a 15-year-old reader.
I tried to read them and failed to be interested, conditioned to Pratchett's wizards, witches and educated rodents. J K Rowling is not in the same league, never will be, but then, why should quality stand in the way of money?
