The RHI Entertainment adaptation of Terry Pratchett's Discworld novel, The Color of Magic, (produced in the UK for SKY1 in Spring earlier this year), will be aired for the first time to US viewers by ION Television this fall, November 23, beginning at 7 pm to be precise.
The Color of Magic Movie will be shown as a mini-series and sees the sterling appearance of Jonathan Malory as a Citizen of Ankh Morpork alongside esteemed acting talents Sean Astin (Twoflower), Tim Curry (Trymon) and Sir David Jason (Rincewind).
The Color of Magic book is Terry Pratchett's first Discworld novel (there are now over 30) and is described by the author as having ‘no discernable plot on its own', which is why the movie is actually the first two novels, The Color of Magic and The Light Fantastic, combined.
This is a must see movie for Discworld fans and is sure to attract more readers amongst those yet to experience the original wit and humor of Terry Pratchett.
