THE call of the wild is coming to Croydon this autumn when wolves will be camping out in the Fairfield Halls car park to welcome revellers to the world's largest indoor gathering of witches.
Witchfest will be held at the theatre on Saturday November 5 from 10am to midnight.
Last year the gathering attracted 5,000 visitors keen to get to grips with the witchcraft movement.
The wolves, which will be supplied by the UK Wolf Trust, will be there to meet and greet visitors and remind them of witches' connection to nature.
They will be joined by guest speaker Terry Pratchett, author of the Discworld books. Most Haunted's David Wells will also be running a workshop.
Ritual daggers, wands, tarot cards and occult books will be among the items on sale in the shopping area as well as original Pagan and visionary art.
Live music will come from the Mediaeval Babes and rock bands Inkubus Sukkubus and NFD, who will take to the stage in the evening.
