2008 Discworld Calendars

The 2008 Discworld calendars are out, but this year they are taking on a more traditional approach for the artwork. Instead of using shots from the TV production of Hogfather like last year, the 2008 Discworld calendar features works from a whole bunch of different artists who've painted and illustrated some splendid pictures from around the Discworld.

Some of the painting's and illustration's themes include: 'Errol And The Tower Of Art' by Jon Sullivan, 'Going Postal' by David Frankland, 'She Ain't Heavy, She's Our Kelda' by Stephen Player, 'The Colour Of Magic' by Melvyn Grant and... anyway the pictures cover a number of themes that span the whole range of Discworld novels. Well obviously not all of them, that would be silly, but they don't focus on any particular area which should make for an interesting year as you flip through them from month to month.
