This site is not commercial, none of us users pay a penny towards its upkeep, it is run on a purely voluntary basis. Even if it had been a matter of choice for Mal, I (as a computer professional currently responsible for keeping websites running 24 hours a day) wouldn't even think to criticize in such a harsh way. Access to this site is a privilege, not a right. The site had to be moved to a new server, it was switched off to avoid losing any new posts and switched back on again when the new server IP had propagated.
