When Cohen starts realizing that he and his merry band of men are the last heroes on the Discworld, he mentions Hrun the Barbarian, but not Bravd and the Weasal. Why is this so? Are Bravd and the Weasal only in CoM?

I presume they (and Hrun) died between Colour of Magic and Interesting Times, or maybe they retired.

All things die unfortunately.

Well, apart from Death of course.

And the gods, they never truly die.

Oh, and Mr Slant... and all the other undead.

But apart from them, all things die. Except maybe rocks...

Oh, by the way Hrun isn't dead, he's a captain of a city watch.

Eh, Bravd and Weasel were kind of one-note. It was a good, strong note, but one-note nonetheless. A simple Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser parody. Pratchett has moved Discworld away from being a pure fantasy parody, so they don't really fit into the series now.

Cohen was an elderly barbarian he can't be expected to remember everything. Others he didn't mention are Cimbar the Assasin and Erig Stronginthearm

"No, a proof is a proof. What kind of a proof? It's a proof. A proof is a proof, and when you have a good proof, it's because it's proven." - Actual quote by Jean Chretien, former Canadian Prime Minister.
