Default Lord and Ladies & Any one know the title of the book? - 12-16-2008, 15:47

This was one of my first terry pratchett books i read and i just thought it was amazing. i havent really heard anyone talk about this book , but i really do think its one of his best ones.

I love the humour when nanny ogg and weatherwax talk about magrat being a sex symbol, hilerious. The three witches have got the be my favourite charaters,I found it hard to read other books without them in.

I recently went into a waterstones recently and read the back of one of the books but didnt remember when i got home what the title was called. It was about nanny ogg and weatherwax battling the vampire lord or something along them lines. anyone know?

I hope the TattoedLady isn't BORED yet- I think you mean BOARD!

And "Carpe Jugulum" derives from "Carpe Diem" - "Seize the Day" - so "Carpe Jugulum" translates (in Pratchettian Discworld terms) as "Go for the Throat"
