Welcome to Jangus and Vimes. Things may seem a little quiet at present but don't let that fool you. Things can get pretty hectic at times.

1) It's sort of my name, spelled to rhyme with Bananana
2) female 3) 33, South Africa 4) I saw a version of Soul Music which made me slightly ill. As to whether anyone could make a good TP movie, probably, given enough time and money. 5) I barely remember, it was so long ago 6) I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way |

1) what formed the motivational impetus for your chosen screenname?
Well, I'm a huge fan of TP (Terry Pratchett before you ask), and I'm from Sweden... 2) Are you male or female? (Asking because there has been quite of lot of confusion over this, on and off.) Male 3) what age category and geographic location do you fall into? I'm 26 years of age and live in Stockholm 4) Have you seen any Discworld movies, did you like them and do you have faith in future productions being good, better or worse than current ones? (note, this in no way shape or form asks about casting choices you'd like to see. i have a loaded rifle and i'm not afraid to use it.) Sorry to say, I haven't yet seen any Discworld movies... 5) who or how were you turned on to discworld/pratchett? My mother... Introduced me to "Lords and Ladies" and I was hooked immediately 6) what's your personal quote of the day? "Always forgive your enemies - nothing annoys them so much." - Oscar Wilde |

1. Ni-Ne is a nickname I was given by a very dear friend who said I reminded him of a rare bird called a Ni-Ne from the Amazon rain forest. J is the first letter of my name so it is a mixture of the two. Oh and you can pronounce my name J9.
I seem to have forgot to say I am female whoops...... 2. I'm 37 years old and live in Sedgley, West Midlands in the United Kingdom. 3. I have seen Hogswatch and The Colour Magic, out of the two I preferred Hogswatch but I think that is because Death and The Death of Rats are two of my favorite characters. 4. I started Reading Terry Pratchett when my youngest had to spend 21 weeks in Birmingham Childrens Hospital. One of his doctors was a big TP fan and we would dicuss the discworld during morning rounds much to the bafflement of the trainee docs. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have is my favorite quote, because it just about sums up my life. |
