1) what formed the motivational impetus for your chosen screenname?
Delphine Angua blah uberblah. 2) Are you male or female? (Asking because there has been quite of lot of confusion over this, on and off.) Female 3) what age catagory and geographic location do you fall into? I'm 21, at uni in Chester (which is distressingly close to liverpool), when not "studying" there, I'm just outside Canterbury in Kent. 4) do you have good faith that a discworld movie COULD be done well enough not to suck? (note, this in no way shape or form asks about casting choices you'd like to see. i have a loaded rifle and i'm not afraid to use it.) Eh, maybe. I dunno. I'd go and see it. If the pictures in my head are better, then they can stay ![]() 5) who or how were you turned on to discworld/pratchett? Saw Mort performed at the theatre. 6) what's your personal quote of the day? Talking about psychology dissertations with Dale: McLaren says: "The Psychology of a Monkey Knife Fight" would be good Sister Ella says: Monkey A is clearly displaying dominance over his territory... but he is showing unconcious fear of Monkey B through his protective stance... Monkey B hates Monkey A, as demonstrated by the way he's just stabbed him in the face. |

Welcome Queenynci
I see you live just up the M62 from me. Unfortunatly you've just missed Dale who also lives in Manchester, he's in Bristol now at university. Then again your probably fortunate, as is your city. |

I knew I was forgetting to do something...
1) From my name and the fact that I like to wear hats. And dr. Suess is cool. 2) female...girl power 3) 17, northeast us (the best state ever, nudgenudge winkwink) 4)I think it would be enjoyable, but I don't think it could portray the depth and intelligence of the books. 5) well...I saw the Fifth Elephant in the bookstore, and I bought it and read it and hid it from my mother. I thought she'd yell at me for reading inappropraite material (Wonky's and cat piss...tsk tsk) She found it, and lucky for me, she liked it so much she went out and bought the rest and I was still allowed to read them. (Unlike Dan Brown's books, which I still have to steal from my parents room...oh well) 6) "take this laundry basket and put all your clothes in it." "But then I'll have no clothes..." |

Hello everyone. I'm new to the forums here, so I don't know if I was supposed to fill out the little survey thing or not.
1) I got my name when I was finishing middle school in Ohio. I looked like a particular game character then, and the name's stuck ever since. 2) Female. 3) 16 (17 on the eighth of September) and Central Texas. 4) XD Luckily I HAVE no casting prefrences. But yes, I do belive a Discworld movie could be made to the point where it wouldn't suck. I'd like to see one, actually. 5) Don't hate me... When I was in Germany, a family friend of ours had the first Discworld game on the Playstation. I became addicted to it due to the humor and characters, later found out it was a book series, and became hooked through that. 6) I don't have one today- I haven't spoken to anyone. XD EDIT: Yikes, I made a big typo. o.o; I meant to say "no casting prefrences"...not to. XD |
