Hi everyone

Newbie here. I never quite know what to say when doing a forum intro, also it is 1.30am and my brain is not firing to well.

I love Pratchett and have read just about every book. I am sure I am very much a novice compared to most here but I have been lucky enough to meet Mr Pratchett on 2 occasions and also have some books signed by him which I treasure.

Yes that is my tattoo in the avatar :oops: I combined a few of my loves. I have 6 cats, and also Death is one of my fav characters (how can you not love someone that has a white horse called Binky) The Denmother is my nickname.

I live in Canberra Australia and I am an old crotchety woman :badgrin:

Hope to find my way around the forum and look forward to reading lots of posts and getting to know you all.

1) what formed the motivational impetus for your chosen screenname?

If I told you wouldn't believe me! lets just say having as many cats as I do and also mothering everyone I meet to death kinda started the ball rolling!

2) Are you male or female? (Asking because there has been quite of lot of confusion over this, on and off.)

3) what age catagory and geographic location do you fall into?

Old and small island girth by sea.

4) do you have good faith that a discworld movie COULD be done well enough not to suck? (note, this in no way shape or form asks about casting choices you'd like to see. i have a loaded rifle and i'm not afraid to use it.)

No but I would really hope so!

5) who or how were you turned on to discworld/pratchett?

My Brother started reading them, I became interested after hearing him laughing himself stupid in the middle of the night!

6) what's your personal quote of the day?
