Right, here's the rough version of the character. skills and stats to be completed later.
Dr Jakob Diederich: born in Bohemia to an aristocratic family, his parents moved up to Berlin when he was just a baby so he grew up very much a Prussian. Jakob was educated in Heidelberg, graduating with a focus in medicine and psychology during the Great War. It was also at this time that he fell in with a group of students who were into the German Mysticism/Occultism revival. After graduation Jakob spent some time traveling in the Orient, secretly on a mission for the Imperial high command, until the war ended and he made a hasty return home with his newly acquired manservant, Kong Ming. Seeing the state of post war Germany, and Europe in general, he sold his interests at home and moved to England, where he completed his studies at Oxford University and obtained a Doctorate of Medicine with a specialization in Psychiatry. By late 1921, he had moved to Massachusets, settling in the small town of Arkham where he did some post graduate research at the Miskatonic University and the Arkham asylum. the character will have a strong focus in skills such as medicine, biology, chemistry, and psychology. Additional skills are occultism (germanic and oriental) and linguistics (german, latin, english, probably greek, chinese, and arabic as well). Dr Diederich is quite young, mid to late twenties, usually very well dressed. More later. Edit: Roman's determined that Dr D's anual income is 20k, with 100k in property. This will reflect overseas investments, proceeds from the sale of estates in germany, and aquisitions from the far east. |

Right I was going to do all this now (as the man from BT has just been and fixed my telphone line) but I have been called away by Mrs R. for the old last minute, rugby-tackle-my-way-through-ASDA, shopping trip.
I shall complete this on boxing day by either using those numbers (even though they were pretty sad) or I may do a re-roll. BTW - The reason my last post said 'Not really sure about this...' was because I wasn't sure I was doing the correct thing to do the rolls - but it worked anyhow. Right must go. R. A. That isn't a good set, Randywine. The high rolls aren't that high, and the rest are below average. I reccomend to roll a second set when you get the chance, rather than using the current one.

so that gives me:
1 - (4d6)[1][3][6][1](11) 2 - (4d6)[6][1][1][2](10) 3 - (4d6)[4][1][1][1](7) 4 - (4d6)[6][3][4][4](17) 5 - (4d6)[4][3][1][2](10) EDU - (4d6)[2][3][4][2](11) 1 - (3d6)[5][5][3](13) 2 - (3d6)[2][3][5](10) so many 1's ![]() A. One word at a time. |

Ouch! Randywine, this set isn't much better than the last one, I'm afraid. You have a little more to do with these, though, so if you want to keep these rolls...
My recommendation is to roll the third set, though. Grace, your set is good, though I'd shift some points to EDU. |

A note on funds:
For those who have already discussed their investigator finances with me, 10% of your property is cash in the bank, readily available. An extra 10% is stocks and bonds, convertible to cash within a month. The remaining 80% is pure property. This is true unless I have said otherwise while discussing your particular character. |

Ok, Roman I'll roll a third set and NO MATTER WHAT they turn out to be I'll use them. So here goes ---
1 - (4d6)[2][4][4][3](13) 2 - (4d6)[1][3][3][5](12) 3 - (4d6)[3][5][2][3](13) 4 - (4d6)[3][2][6][5](16) 5 - (4d6)[4][2][6][4](16) EDU - (4d6)[3][2][4][4](13) 1 - (3d6)[5][1][6](12) 2 - (3d6)[1][3][1](5) A. One word at a time. |
