Now, RFID tags for tracking people... concept always amused me. Only the passive tags are small enough and cheap enough to enjoy wide use outside of the military, though I've read quite an interesting article back in my uni days about trying to use active RFID tags to allow tracking people inside a hospital, with a 3D overlay of the building included... Pretty ambitious for a chip with little to no power. The standard RFID tag can only be read at a distance of 10cm, unless you use a *very* big and focused transmitter to get the return frequency... If I remember correctly, this was one of the reasons that the US gave out metal-lined passports now that the newer ones contain the passport's data in the chip, and added in an encryption/initial-authentication process to read the data, the key being written on the passport. Other countries trying the whole "e-passport" thing are also looking into the security and privacy aspects of it, as it should be. Other RFID uses I'm aware of, other than the standard (shop inventories), is for paying road tolls. It works quite well in Israel on roads that require a toll - you buy a little active RFID transmitter from the company in charge of managing the tolls, and it tells its bigger brother (;-)) at the entrance to the road that you crossed, so that you can get a simpler charge sent to your Visa... rather than the rather more annoying bill sent to your house that involved a camera taking a picture of your license plate... they still don't defeat the purpose of tolled roads, mind, unlike toll booths. What's the point of paying for a faster road if you get stuck in line? That's your "e-money" thing right there, in part. As I said, that little Youtube clip is based on twisting facts to suit its scaremongering agenda... so yes, there's a grain of truth there... in that that video makers should be pointing their consiprazoid fingers at themselves. The rest is just your standard run-of-the-mill "9/11 truther" crap on the one hand, and Illuminati's New World Order crap at the other, with that noticable tinge of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion hiding in the background. New World Order (conspiracy theory) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Read onwards for the "money chip" hysteria as well. It's nothing recent, this sort of crap thinking has been going on for decades... ever since some people started wearing tinfoil hats to "protect again government mind-reading and mind-control"... |

Why should Ba be angry? If Roman actually did something right and succeeded, Ba would simply take the world from him.
To be honest, Ba's always been a bit disappointed that Roman hasn't taken over the world yet. What's it take to get decent minions? |

Curses! But not to worry, Rinso, for you have forgotten to wear your tinfoil hat today! Thus, your mind... what little there is of it... is now mine! |
