Technology. Whether it be dial up or a pager, its still a hell of a lot more convenient than standing on a hill in the middle of no where trying to get enough velocity on a stick on a string to make a noise... Bull roarers a lot more effort than they're worth. I'd take AOL over that anyday and I never used AOL.
