Rules *

- Photographs must be taken by you - no nicking them off the Web
- Photos must be taken specifically for the contest - get out there and get snapping!
- One picture per person.
- No excessive digital manipulation (i.e. adding a more dramatic sky from another photo to your picture). Playing with levels, saturation etc is ok though.
- Equipment: Anything goes as long as the results can be seen from here.
- Voting takes place when the contest closes.
- The winner of the contest gets to choose the next subject.
- Late entries will not be included in the voting.

Ok, I've got my camera working, and I'm off on holiday next week so I'll try and catch some moments.

I've looked the word up to give me some ideas.

Reg : so what's the competition about this time ?
Me : "Moment"
Reg : Hmm. Well, maybe if you could find an anthill and dig it up and find the queen, you could take a picture of her.

Reg : Well... yeah. She's the Mum-ant, see.

Are we not going to use the same month end as usual? I mean, there's still a week left of this month and we've already had 9 days... OK, I haven't taken a picture yet, nor do I know what I'll do yet, but a deadline soon will make me think quicker.

Ah it's good to know this place hasn't changed. I've been on holiday, failed to take any decent pics, come back and found that the comp hasn't even got off the ground. I've still got some time. Just need the inclination now.

hey guess what I did, yup, I got a camera, now I just have to get home while there is light and I have some energy and thinking ability left and you may just see my part of the world yet! it is a crap $85 camera but if I am good enough at seeing what I'm seeing it may be okay. Watch out here I come.

As for me I have taken a few that I like, but there's a special moment happenning on june 30th so I'll try to get a couple of snaps of that before I pick my photo...

I thought this was a theme where you could take the best pictures if you just carried your camera around with you, instead of deliberately setting out with it to take some pictures.
But I shall say no more....
