Oooh, hard. Faith. On top of it, the word is hard to translate into German without loosing some of it's vibe, and I'm not even sure of the entire, wholeful meaning. Couldn't you have stuck for "sugar"?!

Myriads, sure. But at least I can grasp them.Mal's example shows another subtle difference to the German word "Glaube". "Der Glaube" would, in most cases, be had in some religious context. A German would trust in the bridges ability to carry his weight, or just hope it does, but not have faith in it. Edit. Some wording... |
