Of course it is. Mal - the books are supposed to be for children. Therefore the game on the site is targetted for it. Heaven help us when the adults who work in publishing actually realise that kids have brains too and start catering to the adults in all children.
(This is why marketing surveys never work - they only take the middle statistics to work with and then screw it up by catering to the LCD.)

It's not too bad as a concept, but gets boring pretty quickly because there is little to no progression in terms of difficulty or variation.
