Nevertheless, you're perfectly correct, and as this is the first Social Club on the board I'm still learning also.
I only had three choices when I set the board up. Open to all, Moderated or Registered only.
I chose Moderated thinking it would allow any unwanted posts to be removed (in the light of the current spam postings). I didn't realize it would make the club 'invitation only'.
So, if you've received an invite or have asked for one to be sent to you, it will appear as a
Notification in the top bar below the main tabs.
Looks like another 'undiscovered' bit of technology we didn't know about... especially Mal
To find the club after you've joined. look along the darker bar where your User CP/FAQ/Members List is situated and click on Quick Links. The Social Clubs are listed under Networking.
It's that easy
