It is a bit trippy, Dali-esque in places. With the stuff I've had a go at I've purposely not looked at other drawings by other people, not gone back and looked at old book covers, and tried to draw things how I think I first remember imagining them, which in this case is kind of an odd creature where the wood of the box is alive as much as the feet.
